Haynes Materials is seeking an experienced Foreman to manage the day to day operations of the quarries to provide a safe work environment for efficient production.
The Quarry Foreman is charged with manage workforce to operate vehicles, mobile plant and fixed plant to: manufacture aggregates; load quarry products into customer vehicles; fill bulk-bags as necessary; crush, screen and wash aggregates; and maintain the work areas, Carry out repairs and maintenance work within the Quarries.
Their duty is to address any job concerns, ensure safe working environments, communicate with workers and supervisors and customers; coordinate tasks and production schedules, and train other employees. A foreman does this by communicating clearly and possessing great analytical and leadership skills. Provides direction and training to employees.
The ideal candidate will have quarry related experience of 5 years or more. MSHA certified is a plus but will provide training. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervisor or foreman. Proven safety record and building relationships.
